What does a Maintenance Technician at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Ensure proper maintenance of buildings, properties and follow policies, practices and procedures.
Leadership
This role does not lead others
Core Accountabilities
- Ensure the safety of employees and customers through the proper and timely maintenance of all Hoffman properties.
- Ensure that all assigned work orders are completed and closed in a timely manner.
- Maintain total responsibility for the repairs and maintenance of lighting issues, HVAC, roofing, flooring, plumbing, walls damage, paint, light carpentry, and other issues that may arise.
- Clean driving record with a state of Connecticut license is a must.
- Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical / trade school preferred.
- 5 years’ work experience with facilities type maintenance and or construction.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills to work as a team.
- Must have the ability to adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
- Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to making all repairs right the first time.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to own and drive projects from planning to execution.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
