What are the responsibilities and job description for the Burlington Hyundai Sales Associate position at Hoffman Auto Group?
Role Purpose:
Directly responsible for selling new and/or pre-owned vehicles at dealership gross, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes three broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, and selling. The base of this business is customer satisfaction; the Sales & Leasing Consultant is committed to guaranteeing satisfied customers.
Leadership:
This role does not manager others.
Core Accountabilities:
1. Sells/leases and delivers a minimum of 10 units per month
2. Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
3. Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
4. Fully explains product performance, application, and benefits to prospects; maintains product knowledge of new products, features, accessories, optional equipment, etc.
5. Offers test drives to all prospects; follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive
6. Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up system
7. Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
8. Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager
9. 100% introduction to sales manager
10. 100% of closed deals to F&I Manager, along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.)
11. Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies
12. Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival
13. Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warrant, and paperwork
14. Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department; schedules first service appointment
15. Follows up on all post delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met
16. Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
17. Maintains a prospect development system
18. Attends sales meetings; interacts with sales manager for daily one on one
19. Knows and understand the Federal, State, and Local laws which govern retail automobile sales
20. Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation to the customers
21. Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively

4. College Degree preferred
5. Sales experience preferred
6. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Salary : $60,000 - $120,000
