Stone Market Delivery Driver
Overview: Delivery drivers play a key role in the success of the Stone Market. The delivery schedule changes on a day to day basis so each day brings different tasks. You will be responsible for taking 1-10 deliveries per day depending on geographical location and time of year. We need you full time during our busy spring season. After that, hours will reduce to part time, 2 to 4 days a week, depending on your availability and our workload. When customers are not in need of deliveries, you will be assisting customers by operating the loading equipment at the yard or acting as a cashier. This is a first shift position and NO overnight trucking will be asked of you.
Daily Responsibilities
- Communicate with scheduler for daily deliveries
- Deliver bulk product from the yard to customers (sod, rock, brick etc.)
- Drive 1 ton truck or larger if Class B qualified
- Assist in stonemarket if delivery schedule is open
- Operate forklift
- Operate skid steer and IT wheel loader
- Perform maintenance on loading machines (fuel, oil, grease etc.)
Job Requirements
- Valid Class C , preferably CDL (Class A or B)
- Experience in trucking
- Machine operating experience (Preferred)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
