Mech Designer 1

Entry-level learning from degreed professionals the engineering basics to implement into project designs. Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering practices for small to medium-sized projects. Performs design layouts and features.

Essential Functions:

• Pick up red-lines. Revise comments from other Peer Teams. Follow directions.
• Builds model floor plans designed by collaborative Design Team.
• Learn the process and procedures for coordination with Structural, Civil, MEP Consultants instructed by PM.
• Learn building construction through guidance to draft wall sections and plan details.
• Consultant coordination after receiving consultant procedure training.

Education and Experience:

Experience as BIM tech/drafter or some education experience in building systems. Has a good understanding and grasp of the major basic engineering concepts for the respective disciplines.
