Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with two hundred plus attorneys in nine offices, is seeking an Inter-Team Secretary Resource to join our Buffalo office. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing secretarial and administrative assistance such as scanning, completing expense reports, editing documents, proofreading, marketing assistance, assisting with large mailings, entering attorney/paralegal time entry, booking travel, running conflict checks/opening files, file indexing/closing, etc.
- Providing secretarial support when secretaries are out of the office and assisting our word processing team with incoming work.
- Assisting with special projects in the office.
You will work with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal and administrative staff in our various practice areas to service clients. You are required to demonstrate an extraordinary level of discretion, attention to detail, listening and organizational skills. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to meet deadlines and focus on details. This is a hands-on role, suitable for a team member who exudes warmth, friendliness, and professionalism in equal measure. Associate’s degree in business administration or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience as a secretary/administrative assistant.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in New York City, is $42,100 to $51,675. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
