What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kit Technician position at Hodge?

You will l be responsible for supporting teams that unload, load, check, tag, put away, order pick and/or assemble material in the warehouse daily. .

Full-time hours available:
- 1st shift (5:30 am - 2:00 pm) overtime/weekends as needed
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Operate all material handling equipment in a safe & efficient manner (forklift, overhead crane, etc.)
- Comply with PPE requirements for fall arrest
- Pick parts to fulfill performance upgrade kit orders
- Build all kits with goal of 100% accuracy
- Place in proper sequence
- Place completed kit in outbound staging area
- Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse
- Maintain records and complete any required paperwork
- Maintain inventory integrity through proper use of scan gun technology
- Work toward continuous quality improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Kit Technician must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
Education/Experience:
Preferred:
- High School Diploma, GED or continuing education
- Forklift Operator certification
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
- SAP software/RF scan gun experience/knowledge
