Hocking Hills Serenity Salt Cave (Hocking Hills Salt Cave) in Logan, Ohio is seeking one or more part-time / PRN (as needed) Team Member(s) to join our incredible, growing team. We are located at 690 Old McArthur Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.

This position consists of general duties for daily operations at Hocking Hills Serenity Salt Cave (Hocking Hills Salt Cave). The "Team Member" is a universal employee. Responsible for maintaining and assisting with day-to-day operations within the appropriate, assigned scope of practice.

GENERAL OVERVIEW • RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Welcoming guests by greeting and offering assistance.
• Directing guests by escorting to/from our products and/or specific services.
• Advises guests by providing information on products and services.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing cash, and store or other credit cards.
• Use judgment to solve guest/customer issues.
• Maintains scheduling commitments.
• Scheduling practices for guest appointments.
• Facilitating Salt Cave and Sauna sessions (appointments).
• Answering and returning telephone calls.
• Stocking shelving and assisting with inventory processes.
• Ensuring facility is always clean and presentable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential duties include, but may not be limited to:

1. Assists/answers telephones in professional manner, takes messages, schedules appointments, etc.

2. Opens and/or closes the Salt Cave subject to scheduled shift(s), conducts guest appointment(s), assists in the sale of retail via the cash register, retains and educates frequently with knowledge of all areas of technology, assigned tasks, etc.

3. Identifies area(s) in need of improvement and brings forth to Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, Department Leader, General Manager and/or Director of Operations. Provides a plan supporting the proposed changes and goals as necessary to provide the most optimal outcome with a focus to excellence in quality and hospitality.

4. Makes marketing calls and/or delivers products, informational material, runs errands, etc., on behalf of Hocking Hills Serenity Salt Cave (Hocking Hills Salt Cave) to identified facilities when directed.

5. Holds general responsibility in guest satisfaction.

6. Supports and follows policies and procedures, as well as all employee benefits/incentive programs for which may exist either presently or in the future.

7. May assist with the interviewing / new employee training processes upon request via facility manager.

8. Flexible hours according to focused tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum qualifications & requirements include, but may not be limited to:

• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent verbal skills.
• Able to problem solve as issues arise.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30-65LBS on occasion.
• Ability to follow directives set via management staff.
• Ability to accomplish focused tasks.
• Dependable, reliable, and flexible.
• Available to work primarily on Saturdays.
• 18 years of age or older is preferred, but not required. Minors may be considered, but must have permission via a parent or legal guardian. » Candidates must be reliable, flexible, professional, kind, and have at least a general knowledge of computer systems. Prior customer service and/or retail experience is preferred but not required.

» Candidates must be available to work, at minimum, 2-3 ( /-) Saturdays, as well as potential Sundays and Mondays per month, as this is the primary opening for this position. Weekday hours may be available and/or required as well, subject to the needs of our team, and of course our community and customers.

» Training will occur on-site. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, as well as any additional prerequisites set forth by Hocking Hills Serenity Salt Cave.
