Responsibilities
- Food preparation
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, and cooking stations
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety guidelines to prevent contamination
- Assist with catering orders and special event setups as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or high volume kitchens is preferred
- Attention to detail is everything.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are highly valued
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Prior restaurant experience or kitchen experience that showcases your ability to thrive in fast-paced settings is advantageous
