Front Desk Associate – Seasonal & Year-Round Positions Available
Hochstetler Resorts is looking for a friendly and motivated team member to join our Front Desk team in Estes Park, Colorado!
We are a family-owned hospitality company that has operated hotels in Estes Park since 1998. Our portfolio includes four properties: Silver Moon Inn, Appenzell Inn, Estes Mountain Inn, and Hotel Estes.
We are currently hiring for seasonal positions (through mid-October) and year-round opportunities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences.

Essential Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a welcoming, professional check-in and check-out experience
- Process reservations, payments, and guest transactions accurately
- Balance reports and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Provide helpful information about the hotel and Estes Park area
- Handle guest questions or concerns with professionalism and care
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries courteously
- Maintain communication logs and shift reports
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure accurate room status
- Assist with training new front desk staff as needed
- Promote property amenities and marketing programs to guests
- Set up, refresh, and break down continental breakfast
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Report any incidents or unusual occurrences promptly
- Communicate with guests through email and review platforms
- Maintain proper key control for guests and staff
- Follow company safety, security, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Friendly personality with strong customer service skills
- Professional, neat appearance
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to learn property systems and equipment
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred, but not required — we are happy to train the right person.
Additional Duties (as needed)
- Assist with light housekeeping or laundry
- Restock front desk supplies
- Deliver guest items such as towels, pack-and-plays, or rollaway beds
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
