Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site CNC Technician role located in Wallingford, CT. The CNC Technician will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include programming and setting up CNC machines, performing preventive maintenance, calibrating equipment, ensuring compliance with quality control standards, and addressing mechanical or technical issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance for CNC machinery
- Understanding of Instrumentation and Calibration processes
- Knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems relevant to CNC operations
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based manufacturing environment
- Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Prior experience in CNC programming, operation, or maintenance is a plus
