We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Hobson Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Commercial Liability and Property coverage for Affordable Housing Risk Management portfolios.
About the Job:
As an Underwriter, you will price policies, coordinate services, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors. You must have expertise in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance, reinsurance, and risk evaluation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting, including Property & Casualty expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Risk Management principles and comfort with contracts and credit reports.
- Self-motivated with exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Bonus points for Agent's license and/or Certificate in General Insurance.
