Qualifications
- Strong Animal Care and Pet Care skills, including safe handling, basic husbandry, and observation of animal behavior and comfort.
- Ability to support Veterinary Medicine activities, such as assisting with exams, treatments, and diagnostics under professional supervision.
- Experience or aptitude in Client Education, including explaining basic care instructions and reinforcing preventive health recommendations.
- Solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and managing client questions in a calm, professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a veterinary assistant program or relevant coursework is preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate weights, and to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with attention to detail and safety.
