Hoboken Charter School is accepting resumes for a high school Special Education teacher to start September 2026. The candidate must have a standard certificate, CE/CEAS, or college degree in the appropriate area with teaching experience. If not certified, must be willing to begin process.
Special Education teachers work primarily as co-teachers in our inclusive classroom settings. The Hoboken Charter School is a K-12 community committed to social justice and service-learning grounded in learner- centered practices. Our teachers have autonomy to teach an inquiry-based, learner-centered curriculum with the benefit of small class sizes. Through an individualized and shared journey, students come to know who they are and how they can change the world.
