The Staff Accountant responsibilities will include performing general ledger account and bank statement reconciliation, preparing journal entries and internal financial statements, creating and maintaining periodic reporting, maintaining fixed asset reporting, preparing statistical and financial reports, maintaining records retention, and assisting Management in preparation of miscellaneous confidential correspondence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates effective communication and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Utilizes SAP accounting system.
• Performs various general ledger account analyses and reconciliations.
• Reconciles the bank statement and prepares cash adjusting journal entries.
• Prepares various financial statements and reports for leadership.
• Reviews and approves weekly Temp Agency billings for payment.
• Assists with the month-end closing process.
• Posts journal entries for closing, account discrepancies, and accruals.
• Completes various payroll hours reports.
• Keeps up-to-date fixed asset and depreciation records.
• Supports and backs up various members of the Accounting team during vacations and absences.

Education Requirements:

• Associates in Accounting
