As an International Post Entry Clerk you will review documents created by International vendors to process for payment as well as reconcile all Customs documents to ensure accuracy. Function
- Review documents and reconcile data for payment processing to overseas vendors
- Review documents and reconcile data used to clear shipments by customs
- Conduct research: compile data, spreadsheets, etc.
- General clerical duties: copying, printing, filing, and scanning documents, etc.
- Correspond with internal & external business partners
- Create and modify documents using Word, Excel, and Adobe
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to focus and apply analytical thinking
- Team-oriented, possessing a positive attitude and works well with others while effectively able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines
- Ability to learn and adapt to various web-based reporting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- High school diploma or general education degree
- 2 – 5 years’ work experience in a related field a plus
