We’re looking for Steel Rack, Industrial Shelving Assemblers to join our growing Engineering team. If you’re mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and want to build a long-term career in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
Hobby Lobby Distribution is responsible for receiving, storing and shipping merchandise to all of Hobby Lobby’s 1050 retail stores around the country. Hobby Lobby Distribution has one central Distribution Center, with 12 buildings comprising over 12 million square feet, featuring:
- 44 miles of conveyor systems
- Automated picking and retrieval systems
- 1,100 pieces of transport equipment
- And cutting-edge industrial machinery
What You’ll Do:
- With help from a team, build and reconstruct blue steel racks to store products on
- Use power tools
- Climb steel racks
- Support the warehouse operations by increasing storage capacity
What We’re Looking For:
- Some experience using hand drills and electric screwdrivers
- Someone who is comfortable climbing and working above the ground
- Team oriented
- A strong work ethic and a desire to keep learning
