Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all company employees, customers, key vendors and service providers
- For your specific areas of Sales Responsibilities (TBD), and other areas when requested by company President:
· Gain new customer accounts and expand profitable product sales to existing customers (this is primary duty).
· Present weekly summary of all customer/prospect interactions (emails, messages, in-person visits, cold calls). All interactions to be recorded and can be shared or loaded to designated software upon request.
· Implement and communicate product price changes, and additions or deletions to Hobbs’ product line.
· When needed, manage and enter data into customer product information systems.
· Work at and/or attend customer and industry shows and events. Help retail customers sell products via on-site promotions and product demonstrations.
· As requested, assist in the creation and development of marketing and sales materials such as brochures, pamphlets and website.

- In conjunction with the existing Management Team do initiatives that expand and grow Distributor Sales outside of the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Observe, collect and share with Management Team relevant competitive product or distributor information.
- Provide recommendations to the Management Team, and the President on Product Pricing, Margins, Sales and Marketing.
- Fulfill and comply with all company rules and policies, and all laws.

Successful Applicant Must:
- be honest and of high character
- have a positive, upbeat, can-do attitude
- be a self-starter
- have a valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record over the last 3 years.
- be able to pass a drug test and demonstrate I-9 eligibility
- have very good basic math skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- experienced and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- be available to work M thru F from 7:30am till 4:00am and occasional overtime as needed
- demonstrate a history of being reliable and punctual
- have a history of job stability (someone who hasn't changed jobs frequently)
- have a cell phone that applicant can use for communication with supervisor during working hours
- very good verbal skills - read and speak English. (Bilingual in Spanish and or Vietnamese a plus).
Ideal Applicant Additionally:
- has applicable prior job experience
- has relevant experience in food sales (or similar products) to Hobb’s target customer base
- a “foodie” or passion for food, cooking, products etc
- can demonstrate a strong work ethic
- will thrive in a small company environment
- can work independently with little direction or support.
- be a self-starter with the ability to follow-through to completion on tasks and projects
- learns Quickly
- demonstrated success in helping to build and manage client relationships.
- possesses high level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce or equivalent
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Compensation: Competitive depending on experience and skills
Other Compensation: Eligible for quarterly discretionary bonuses of approximately 10% to 12%
