Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated RV Apprentice / Entry-Level Technician to join our service team. This position is ideal for someone interested in building a career in RV repair and maintenance. The apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced technicians to learn how to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with RV inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Learn to diagnose issues in electrical, plumbing, propane, and HVAC systems
- Help with installation and repair of RV components such as awnings, slide-outs, appliances, and leveling systems
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including seal checks, battery service, and minor repairs
- Assist with pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new RV units
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Document work performed and report findings to supervising technicians
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic mechanical or technical aptitude
- Willingness to learn RV systems and repair techniques
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (kneeling, bending, climbing)
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred (Not Required)
- Trade school training in automotive, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical repair
- Previous experience in automotive, marine, construction, or maintenance work
