Field Service Technician (Commercial Equipment) - Paid Training + Comp

We’re hiring a hands-on Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial food equipment across Central Michigan.

This is a territory based position that will report directly to the Service Manager. The purpose of this position is to work out the best solutions for the repair of commercial food equipment, communicate this solution to the customer, and effectively complete the repair.

what we're looking for

• 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, automotive, or similar work

• Ability to read basic schematics (we can help you grow here)

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

• Good communication and customer interaction skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in the field (kneeling, ladders, etc.)

• Willingness to work occasional overtime and an on-call rotation

what you'll do

• Diagnose and repair commercial food equipment (electrical mechanical)

• Troubleshoot issues on-site and determine the best solution

• Perform adjustments, calibration, and preventative maintenance

• Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and solutions

• Manage your service vehicle inventory and keep it organized

• Continue developing your skills through hands-on and digital training
