HOA Alabama partners with residential communities across Alabama to deliver professional association management services that help neighborhoods thrive. We support homeowner associations through financial stewardship, vendor management, covenant enforcement, project coordination, board relations, and day-to-day community operations.


We are growing our Community Management team in Montgomery and are seeking a motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, making decisions, and taking ownership of outcomes. You'll work directly with HOA boards, homeowners, vendors, and internal teams to help communities operate effectively and maintain high standards.

What You'll Do

As a Community Manager, you'll serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for multiple homeowner associations.


Relationship Management

  • Build strong partnerships with HOA board members and community leaders
  • Maintain regular communication with homeowners, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to boards on community operations
  • Resolve issues and concerns professionally while maintaining positive relationships
  • Balance the needs of homeowners, boards, and service providers

Community Oversight

  • Manage a portfolio of residential communities throughout the Montgomery area
  • Conduct routine property and community inspections
  • Monitor community standards and covenant compliance
  • Document observations using mobile technology and communicate follow-up actions as needed
  • Ensure common areas, amenities, and vendor services are meeting expectations

Financial & Operational Management

  • Review and approve invoices for community expenses
  • Monitor budgets and assist boards in understanding financial performance
  • Review financial reports and provide recommendations
  • Support collection efforts and communicate financial information to boards
  • Help communities stay on track with their operational and financial goals

Vendor & Project Coordination

  • Manage relationships with landscapers, maintenance providers, and other vendors
  • Monitor service quality and address performance concerns
  • Gather and evaluate vendor proposals and bids
  • Coordinate community improvement and maintenance projects
  • Keep boards informed on project status and outcomes

Meeting Facilitation

  • Prepare for and facilitate board meetings
  • Present information and recommendations to association leadership
  • Support annual meetings and community events
  • Confidently communicate with both small and large groups

Qualifications

  • Customer-facing professional experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfort using technology, CRM systems, mobile applications, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned communities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or industry certifications are a plus.


Preferred

  • Property management or HOA experience
  • Budgeting or financial review experience
  • Experience working with vendors or contractors
  • Experience facilitating meetings or presentations
  • Previous HOA experience is beneficial but not required.
