Key Responsibilities
- Research, compile, design, and produce thematic and reference maps supporting SOF intelligence and operational requirements.
- Develop tailored maps and geospatial products for intelligence briefings, mission planning, and senior decision-making.
- Integrate all-source intelligence into map-based visualizations, including cultural, physical, political, infrastructure, and human terrain data.
- Collaborate with analysts, HUMINT/SIGINT/GEOINT teams, and collection managers to ensure accurate, mission-specific visual representations.
- Produce maps for routine tasks as well as crisis events and time-sensitive operational needs.
- Maintain and update mapping data layers (GEOINT inputs, vector files, terrain layers, etc.) to ensure precision and reliability.
- Apply Geographic Names (BGN) rules and ensure adherence to DoD cartographic standards.
- Provide GIS-based analysis to support the development of high-quality, geospatially informed visual products.
