Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Equipment Operator.
We are not looking to train, and this is NOT an entry-level position so if you do not have experience, please do not apply. You must be able to actually operate equipment without the need for constant supervision.
Work: Site prep, excavation, clearing, grading, and demolition
Experience with any, or all, Dozers, Excavators, Loader, Grade Tractor, and Skid Steers (forklifts do not count)
Position: Full-Time
Hours: 7 AM - 5 PM (most days)
Pay: Depends on actual experience
After 90 days: Health, Dental, Vision, Group Life, Miscellaneous other insurance options
After 12 months: PTO

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks
- Manage a range of trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, and roll-off trucks for transporting materials
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance; perform basic maintenance as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites, including adhering to OSHA standards and site-specific guidelines
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance activities, and job site reports
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and similar equipment is required
- Construction site experience with familiarity in various types of machinery used in large-scale projects
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques; a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving trucks like front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks or tanker trucks; a plus
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Ability to quickly adapt to different machinery types including Caterpillar equipment and other major brands
