Position Summary
The EVS Attendant I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas throughout the property. This role ensures all spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained in accordance with established standards. The position supports guest satisfaction and property presentation by providing consistent, high-quality environmental services across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Lincoln
- Vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces throughout assigned areas
- Maintain tidy and clean hallways, staircases, and floor landings
- Clean restrooms, including mopping, vacuuming, and broom/pan duties
- Stock and sort supplies as needed
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, shining, and caring for glass surfaces
- Clean administrative offices and conference rooms
- Restock and service restrooms on scheduled and as-needed basis
- Clean stains and spills on flooring and carpets when they occur
- Safely deliver lost and found items to designated locations
- Ensure all cleanliness standards meet 5-star expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a resort or casino environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products and appropriate usage
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and standard property conditions
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for cleaning tasks
- Work may involve fast-paced or crowded environments
Schedule - Day Shift (36 Hours)
Friday - Monday 7:00AM-4:30PM
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be able to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
