The Information Technology Associate Network Engineer supports the troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s network systems. This role works under the supervision of senior engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network operations in a fast-paced, latency-sensitive environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC
- Assist with configuration, installation, and maintenance of LAN hardware, software, and telecommunications systems
- Monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of Cisco network infrastructure
- Review network architecture documentation and schematics with senior engineers
- Participate in testing and validation of network configurations
- Monitor network performance and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies; escalate issues as needed
- Assist in implementing network upgrades and enhancements
- Provide basic user support for network-related hardware and configurations
- Support routers, firewalls, hubs, and gateway technologies
- Assist with hardware installations, system updates, and maintenance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with switches, routers, cabling, and system servers
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Understanding of LANs, firewalls, and network infrastructure
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with monitoring tools, backup systems, and disaster recovery
- Exposure to patch management and spam reduction tools
- Experience in casino, hospitality, or financial systems
- Certifications such as A , Network , or similar
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license

- Full-time position supporting a 24/7/365 operation
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as needed
- Primarily local travel between WarHorse Gaming properties
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
- Preferred: A , Network , or similar certifications
