Summary:
Position Overview
The role of a Casino Host/Hostess is vital in ensuring the success of the Player Development Team and the overall operational success of the Casino Marketing Team. They are the first point of contact for casino players on the casino floor, both coded and non-coded. Their responsibilities include greeting and registering new casino players in the HCG Players Loyalty Program, assisting with player requests, and ensuring that all players have a fun and memorable experience every time they visit Ho-Chunk Gaming properties. The Casino Host/Hostess is also responsible for enhancing brand loyalty, increasing player frequency of visits, length of play, and consumption spending in both gaming and non-gaming revenue-generating offers. They may also assist the Casino Marketing Department in promotions and special events. Customer service is our top priority for both internal and external guests, and the Casino Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in achieving this goal.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Two (2) years’ of post-secondary education or higher is preferred.
ESSENTIAL:
1. All casino employees will be subject to the Criminal and Background restrictions of the
Ho-Chunk Nation.
2. Must be bondable and have the capability to hold a gaming license through employment.
3. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and, at a minimum, liability auto insurance.
4. No tipping or gratuity will be permitted for this position.
EXPERIENCE:
To be eligible for this position, you must meet one of the following requirements, or a combination of them:
1. A minimum of two (2) years’ of experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing, customer service, sales, promotions, public relations, hospitality industry, gaming industry (preferred).
2. Honorably Discharged Veteran with a minimum of four (4) years’ of service.
