Graphic Designer

**What We're Looking For** HNTB is looking for a detail-oriented graphic designer to join our growing marketing team. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter capable of designing and verbally presenting strong design solutions that are strategic and meet company objectives. As a graphic design teammate, you will be responsible for the creation of print and digital assets including sales proposals, presentations and PR communications that support marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments while moving in a quick pace. With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners. **What You'll Do:** Creates print and digital materials for proposals, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers and layout. Creates print and digital materials for presentations, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards. Creates print and digital materials for PR and internal communications, including brochures, ads, and announcements. Brainstorms new ideas and creates concepts for visually communicating key messages. Maintains and organizes digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics. Coordinates with print vendors and photographers. May review and approve final graphics. Performs other duties as assigned. **What You'll Need:** Associates Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or In lieu of education 5 years of relevant experience **What You'll Bring:** Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio of work showcasing page layout, presentation design and data visualization Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Powerpoint and other visual design tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give and receive feedback Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast pace, including working on several tasks at the same time Experience converting substantial amounts of data or information into meaningful layouts and visual illustrations proficiently Ability to assess challenges and articulate design solutions to teams Strong attention to detail to ensure all elements of a design work together harmoniously and meet brand standards A self-starter who takes initiative to drive projects forward Proficient at driving critical graphics discussions with teams to enhance collaboration and efficient problem-solving Willingness to learn new skills, tools or methods based on project requirements Adaptable to changing ideas, priorities or strategies with the ability to strategically assess situations and determine the best course of action **What We Prefer:** Previous experience in AEC industry Basic knowledge of video animation and video editing in programs like Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects Experience using ArcGIS for mapping and data visualization Experience using 3D modeling software like SketchUp Familiarity with Google Earth **Additional Information** Click here for benefits information: HNTB Total Rewards Click here to learn more about Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. \#AK #MarketingSalesCommunications .
