This opportunity entails being responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive firmwide procurement strategy for critical products and services, aligning with the company's overarching goals. The Director of Procurement collaborates with corporate leadership to establish goals and implement procurement strategies to enhance cost efficiency, quality, and service performance. The position is responsible for oversight of vendor management, negotiation, and purchasing for outsourced services, ensuring suppliers meet contractual obligations and stakeholder expectations.
Firmwide procurement programs include, but are not limited to corporate travel, corporate credit card solutions, onsite and offsite reprographics, long-term vehicle leasing and mobile management, large-scale meeting planning, records retention and destruction, office supplies, and shipping.
**What You'll Do:**
Establishes criteria for national programs, solicits RFPs, and negotiates terms and conditions.
Analyzes the market, screens potential suppliers, facilitates formal Requests for Proposals (RFP), and presents business cases for final vendor selection.
Leads the execution and management of high-priority procurement initiatives, demonstrating expertise in developing policies, processes, and systems, and ensuring compliance across the organization.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders and partners with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develops plans to achieve procurement objectives.
Establishes and maintains a vendor management program, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
Identifies and implements technology advancements for procurement programs.
Assigns programs to Procurement Managers, monitors program performance, and regularly report results.
Develops and analyzes reports reflecting key program performance metrics and costs to identify areas of opportunity and effectively manage spending across the company.
Identifies process inefficiencies and cost-reduction initiatives, leading the design and implementation of process enhancements.
Hires, trains, and develops high-performing team members capable of meeting long-term business needs. Implements succession planning and talent pipeline development.
Establishes and maintains strong vendor relationships, conducts review meetings, enforces contractual provisions, and ensures effective and efficient service achieving the financial goals of the program.
Provides reporting and presentations to senior leadership on procurement activities and outcomes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need:**
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business or relevant field and 15 years of progressive related experience, or
In lieu of education, 19 years of progressive-related experience
