This opportunity entails being responsible for the direction and supervision of all field survey technical and professional staff. Has responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple survey and LiDAR projects. Coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules, warranty renewals, equipment maintenance, and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the capabilities to meet their needs. Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and maintenance of technical programs in area of discipline and efficient, productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service. Will lead equipment and technology development. What You'll Do: Provides technical and operational supervision to a section of professionals in technical discipline area. Ensures the technical, administrative, direct labor and schedule targets for the section are met. Responsible for the management, performance, growth and professional development of discipline-specific section. Coordinates section activities, establishes priorities and staff to jobs. Builds strong client relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging those relationships to generate opportunities for new work. Recruits, hires, develops and retains section staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession. Leads a team including the direct and indirect supervision of at least 5 but typically 7 - 10 or more employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
