Pay Details: $24.00-$35.00/hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

About the Position
A Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting residents by connecting them with community resources, programs, and services that enhance their quality of life and promote stability and self-sufficiency. This role involves building relationships with residents, coordinating educational and community-building activities, providing basic case management, and serving as an advocate for residents' needs. The Resident Services Coordinator collaborates with property management staff, local service providers, and community organizations to develop and implement programs, respond to resident concerns, and ensure a safe, supportive living environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for residents seeking assistance with services and resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents to understand their needs and improve their quality of life.
- Plan and organize community-building activities and workshops to foster a sense of community among residents.
- Connect residents with local services and resources, including health, education, employment, and financial assistance programs.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of local resources and partner organizations.
- Work collaboratively with local agencies and service providers to coordinate resident access to services.
- Provide basic case management and supportive services to residents in need, including goal-setting and follow-ups.
- Advocate on behalf of residents with service providers and external agencies as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ rights and privacy.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs aimed at improving resident stability and self-sufficiency.
- Collect data and feedback from residents to assess the effectiveness of programs and services.
- Modify and adjust programming based on resident needs and changing circumstances.
- Work closely with property management staff to address resident concerns and improve overall resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with on-site staff to address and mitigate any resident issues that affect the community.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights and updates to improve resident services.
- Assist residents in emergency situations, providing guidance and connecting them to emergency services as needed.
- Develop and implement crisis response plans to ensure resident safety and well-being during unforeseen events.
- Ensure that services and programs comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in resident services and affordable housing.
- Maintain working knowledge of resident needs to identify leaders and issues.
- In collaboration with the Learning & Development team, create, coordinate, and deliver Community Engagement related training to internal and external stakeholders for programming updates.
- Participate in scheduling efforts and events, generating successful turnout and engagement for all events.
- Apply real-time data to ongoing benchmarks created and set by supervisor.
- Ensure goals are met using agreed upon data collection methods by conducting resident research and surveys to ensure programming needs are being met.
- Complete all required reporting, data entry, and paperwork.
- Uphold professional ethics, demonstrating compassion, respect, and cultural competence in all interactions.
- Work effectively with leaders, residents and property management staff to develop meaningful and successful programming.
- Provide excellent customer service to all residents, agencies, and vendors.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with peers, other team members and departments.
Experience
- Minimum 2 year of relevant experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
- Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
