What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at HMXLive, a Unit of Harvest Productions Inc?
In the role of Production Manager, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of event logistics. The production manager should have a good understanding of all the major disciplines in the production industry including audio, video and lighting. This will include communication with clients to refine event details, preparing equipment lists, arranging labor schedules, and handling the logistics for event setup and breakdown. You will also be responsible for coordinating with venues and our warehouse team to ensure seamless execution. Your oversight will be critical on-site during events to guarantee that all operations run smoothly, and client expectations are surpassed.
Production Management duties include:
o Actively participate in personal and professional development. Work to Lead and develop the HMXLive production department.
o Attend and actively engage in team meetings, client meetings and other meetings as needed.
o Create on-site job packages for every job with accurate details and project information.
o Organize and lead collaboration with clients and co-workers on event concept and technical needs
o Serve as an ambassador of the HMXLive and Harvest Productions Brand and ensure it is being portrayed by each employee both externally and internally.
o Coordinate the logistics for shipping supplies and staff travel to the event location.
o Oversee part-time staff and volunteers as needed.
o Responsible for managing personal schedule to create time for planning and executing projects in the warehouse and event contracts.
o Follow all projects of each job from creation through execution and always have a running understanding as to project status and project needs.
o Manage the follow-up with vendors, clients and staff members following each event.
o Continue to grow relationships with HMXLive and their clients by providing exceptional customer service by anticipating and fulfilling their needs in a timely, professional and effective manner
o Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
o Assist with accurate budgeting and provide periodic progress reports to staff directors for each event.
