Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

• Ensure restaurants open/close according to standards.
• Maintain a clean, fully staffed, guest-ready environment.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate repairs.
• Manage supply orders, product availability, receiving, and vendor communication.
• Oversee compliance with audits, safety standards, and health regulations.

People & Culture

• Foster a highly engaged, inclusive workplace.
• Hire, develop, coach, and support restaurant managers and associates.
• Oversee onboarding, training, scheduling, and staffing levels.
• Recognize and reward employee performance; champion engagement initiatives.
• Uphold diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments.

Financial & Business Management

• Accept full P&L responsibility for the restaurant.
• Analyze financial and operational data to meet business goals.
• Deploy labor and resources strategically to maximize profitability.
• Implement marketing programs and revenue-generating initiatives.

Brand & Guest Experience

• Maintain strong alignment with brand standards, lease requirements, and CBAs.
• Support the adoption of new technologies.
• Lead with a focus on quality, service, and overall restaurant vibe.
• Resolve customer and associate concerns using sound judgment.

Work Environment & Reporting

• This is an exempt position under the Administrative and Executive Exemptions.
• Reports to a Director of Operations or designated operational leader.
• Requires a rotating schedule with presence across opening, peak, and closing shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience; 5–7 years total restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience managing QSR, Casual Dining, Full Service, Union/Non-Union environments, or similar.
• Food Service Management or Culinary program graduation may substitute for some experience.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand instructions, policies, menus, and brand standards.
• Familiarity with HMSHost systems (or ability to learn quickly): MIV, CrunchTime, Kronos, etc.
