Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Supervisor located in Philadelphia, PA. The Speech Supervisor will oversee the speech/language therapy program, managing the daily tasks of speech pathologists and assistants. Responsibilities include planning and executing therapy sessions, evaluating and developing individual treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with educational and medical standards. The role involves collaborating with other therapists, educators, and support staff to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to student care.
Qualifications
- Licensure and experience in Speech-Language Pathology
- Supervisory and leadership experience in a therapy or educational setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with children with severe disabilities, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge and application of assistive technology in speech therapy
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
