What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at HMS Hotel of Richburg LLC?
~ Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping carpet and/or floors.
~ Vacuuming and cleaning soft goods. Dusting and cleaning all fixtures, furniture, and structures (ie. pictures, window sills, vents, cabinets, walls, etc.)
~ Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom and guest room items, by using proper chemicals ( ie. bathtubs, showers, toilets, sinks, refrigerator, microwaves, etc. )
~ Changing linen and making beds according to brand standard.
~ Removing used guest items and trash and/ or replenishing as needed.
~ Inspecting room for safety hazards and damaged linen.
~ Completing daily deep cleaning assignments.
~ Reporting maintenance tickets appropriately and turning in lost and found items daily & immediately.
~ Maintaining proper cleanliness and organization of storage closets and housekeeping carts.
~ Is committed to providing excellent service.
~ Provides guests with hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Work Environment
~ Must be able to sit or stand for several hours.
~ May be required to kneel, reach, squat, bend, crawl, pull, push, and twist at times.
~ Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift/carry 30 pounds.
Requirements
~ Prior housekeeping experience is a plus.
~ Customer- service orientated.
~ Excellent work ethic.
