Motorsports Service Advisor

What You'll Do as a Service Advisor:

• Greet customers promptly with a professional, friendly, and welcoming attitude
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process
• Listen to customers to understand their concerns, service needs, and expectations
• Accurately document customer concerns and requested services
• Communicate customer needs clearly and effectively with Service Technicians
• Review recommended maintenance and repairs with customers and answer questions regarding their service
• Prepare and communicate clear, accurate, and transparent service estimates
• Obtain customer authorization for recommended services and repairs
• Keep customers informed of service progress, changes, and expected completion times
• Explain completed services, repairs, and applicable warranty information to customers
• Address customer questions and concerns professionally and work toward appropriate resolutions
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
• Work collaboratively with technicians, Parts, and other dealership departments to provide an exceptional customer experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in customer service or a customer-facing role
• Previous powersports, automotive service department, or dealership experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong listening, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable discussing service recommendations, pricing, and repair needs with customers
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership service systems
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
