Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers,This role requires a commitment to delivering freight efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
We Offer:
- $300 per day
- Peak Season Drivers - $800 per week, plus $0.65 per mile when running
Duties
- Operate assigned vehicles, tractor-trailers.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and deliveries made.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Utilize manual transmission when required for specific vehicle operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery processes.
- Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, and tankers is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must have doubles licensing.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
