Job Summary
HMF Racing is hiring an Entry Level Automotive / Industrial Painter to join our production team in Berea, Ohio. This hands-on role involves preparing and applying ceramic coatings and paint finishes to ATV/UTV exhaust systems and fabricated metal parts. Training is provided, and this position offers long-term growth opportunities within our manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal parts for painting and ceramic coating
- Apply coatings to exhaust components and fabricated parts
- Operate spray equipment including airless sprayers and cup guns
- Use sandblasting equipment for surface preparation
- Mix paints and coatings to match work order specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and consistency
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of paint equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic experience with paint tools or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions
- Basic math and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods during the shift
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Bend, reach, squat, and work overhead as needed
