Job Overview
Supports the financial operations of the organization through a blend of clerical and professional accounting duties. Key responsibilities include general ledger allocations, verifying authorized payments, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to provide leadership with timely insights. Contributes to the monthly closing process and supports bi-weekly payroll activities as a secondary reviewer, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare monthly journal entries for entry into the general ledger system
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization
- Create and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets to guide financial planning
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in preparing budgets and analyze budget variances
- Generate supplemental reports for product lines and payers
- Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial input
- Participate in audits as needed
- Ensure timely tax payments and government filings
- Willingly accepts other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience
- Coursework or internship experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge and Skills
- Participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all staff and clients in line with HIPAA standards.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members.

Essential Functions and Work Requirements
