Duties
- Measure and cut window tint films precisely using manual glass cutting tools to ensure perfect fitment on vehicle windows
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and masking areas to facilitate smooth installation of tint films
- Install window tinting films on various vehicle types, ensuring bubble-free, even coverage with clean edges
- Handle automotive glass materials carefully during installation or replacement processes, maintaining safety standards
- Assist with auto glass repair and replacement tasks, including fitting new glass components and ensuring proper sealing
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site jobs or transport of materials between locations
- Use hand tools and power tools safely during installations and repairs, adhering to all safety protocols
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service background with a focus on auto body repair or glass installation
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and how window tinting may impact sensor calibration or vehicle safety features
- Skilled in manual glass cutting, auto glass handling, and automotive glass repair techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto estimating, and assembly processes
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment with a focus on safety and precision
- Experience with automotive glass replacement, fitting glass installation, and auto tinting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about services performed and maintenance tips
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large glass panels or tinted film rolls
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and basic mechanic experience is a plus
