Toolroom Attendant

HM Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a dependable and organized Tool Room Attendant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with electrical background, bilingual in both (English/Spanish), tech-savvy, and possess a current OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the tool room.
• Issue, receive, inspect, and track tools and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Create and process purchase orders for tools, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing and delivery information.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and inventory reports.
• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts.
• Work closely with supervisors to ensure materials and tools are available for upcoming projects.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a tool room, warehouse, inventory control, or purchasing role preferred.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment.
