Millwright

HM Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable local millwrights to assist in the unload and rig and set of line for a shutdown. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in industrial settings, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Align, level, and anchor machinery

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs

• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Millwright or similar mechanical role

• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems

• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and motors preferred

• Welding and fabrication experience a plus

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license

• OSHA 10

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if required)
