We are seeking Rhode Island Licensed skilled Equipment Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate to be skilled in all aspects of general site construction - cuts and fills, trenching, backfilling, and loading trucks. Utility experience is helpful. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including, bulldozers, front loaders, excavators, site trucks.
- Perform digging and building operations as required by project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using heavy machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with commercial construction
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
