Summary

Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and multi-axis CNC

machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts to customer

specifications.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Change out and set up tools
• Operate multi-axis machines
• Dimensionally check parts (up to CMM)
• Read programs and make minor speeds and feeds program changes
• Verify tool lengths and cutter run outs
• Trouble shoot jobs
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
• Accept and adapt easily to change
• Ensures that all activities are consistent with Company Mission

Qualifications

• Technical school certification preferred, high school diploma or GED
  
  

Preferred

• 1 year experience
• Proficient using precision measure tools, GD&T, and shop math
• Blueprint reading
• Understand and interpret customer specifications
• Familiar with G and M programming codes
• Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding
  
  

to supervisor??s direction; and taking responsibility for own

actions

• Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help
  
  

when needed, and perform work independently without being prompted
