Job description

You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to:

Station Field Crop Management
Support Station Crop Management and Facility Management
Support Operations Team Manager in daily activities as requested.
Assist in vegetable crop production for research and breeding teams.
Set up, monitoring, and maintenance of field irrigation systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
Tractor driving and other farm operations activities (disking, cultivating, transplanting, planting, spraying) while
respecting safe operation procedures.
Work alongside and supervise contract laborers conducting routine operational activities.
Pest and disease management.
Actively support the station Illness and Injury Prevention Plan – assist in and attend periodic safety training and
courses.
Participate in weekly staff meetings to share progress and discuss opportunities for improvement.
General operational support from direction given by Farm Manager (5 – 10 %)

What we expect of you

To be considered, you will need:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience/knowledge (1-3 years)
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Private applicators license or ability to obtain as needed
Basic computer skills will Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred

While performing the duties of this job the employee will be driving vehicles. This position will be exposed to outdoor weather
conditions. The employee may need to walk on uneven ground, work near equipment or machinery. The noise level that is
