Role Summary
The Data Intelligence Manager owns the end-to-end setup, implementation, and quality assurance of data and measurement required to track, optimize, and evaluate paid media performance. This role ensures that campaigns are measurable, data is reliable, and performance insights are available in real time to support decision-making across media pods.
Key Responsibilities
Measurement Strategy & Data Implementation
- Own implementation of measurement tracking aligned to CX-defined success metrics and campaign KPIs.
- Lead setup and configuration of tracking solutions, including GTM, GA4, platform pixels, and conversion events.
- Ensure data collection supports accurate attribution, optimization, and performance analysis across channels.
Data Quality Assurance & Governance
- Perform thorough QA of tracking implementations prior to campaign launch, including validation of events, parameters, and data flow.
- Monitor live data for discrepancies, gaps, or anomalies and proactively resolve issues.
- Establish and enforce standards for data governance, naming conventions, and documentation.
Reporting Enablement & Performance Support
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting views as requested by pod leads that provide timely, actionable performance insights to pods.
- Support Media Planners and Buyers by ensuring data is accessible, interpretable, and reliable.
Operational Collaboration & Support
- Identify opportunities to improve measurement approaches, tracking sophistication, and data usability.
- Stay current on analytics tools, platform updates, and privacy considerations impacting measurement.
- Work closely with Operations leadership, Traffic, and Platform teams to ensure tracking and data needs are integrated into execution workflows.
- Support troubleshooting of data-related issues that impact performance assessment or reporting accuracy.
- Contribute to documentation and training related to data setup and measurement best practices.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in strategic roles in agencies working across media, content, social or digital strategy
• An understanding of the complete marketing landscape, including paid media, public reactions, content marketing, social media, UX and marketing automation.
• Strong understanding of how to pull brand strategy across every touchpoint of the customer journey
• Experience and ability to amplify and extend creative ideas beyond traditional touchpoints
