Summary
As a Factory Automation Engineer, you will support with establishing and operating factory automation equipment, including laying out investment plans, bringing in and setting up the equipment, and troubleshooting equipment related issues during operation. You will also work closely with equipment manufacturers and construction team to ensure timely and smooth installation of the equipment.
Responsibilities

As a Factory Automation Engineer, you will support with establishing and operating factory automation equipment, including laying out investment plans, bringing in and setting up the equipment, and troubleshooting equipment related issues during operation. You will also work closely with equipment manufacturers and construction team to ensure timely and smooth installation of the equipment.
Responsibilities
- Review and optimize factory layout.
- Review and draft factory automation machine investment plans.
- Install and stabilize new equipment.
- Communicate with equipment manufacturers and construction team to ensure the equipment delivery and set up schedule is carried out as planned.
- Install new technology to line (example. Installation of lasers).
- Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position.
- Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE.
- Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements.
- Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements.
- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required.
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience (Preferably in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering or related fields)
- 1 years of experience with installation, modification, analysis, repair and testing of tools, machines and other equipment
- Analysis of equipment breakdown data preferred but not required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Proficiency in written and verbal Korean preferred
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours:
- Safety glasses
- Steel-toed shoes
- Nitrile gloves
- Ear protection
- Cleanroom suit
- Lift, push, and pull materials or equipment
- Stoop, twist, and bend
- Reach overhead
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems
- Work may involve handling or working in proximity to hazardous materials and regulated industrial chemicals.
- Exposure to chemical vapors, dust, or other controlled substances may occur depending on process assignment.
- Strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA Hazard Communication requirements is mandatory.
- Employees must properly wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times within designated areas.
- Required PPE may include respirators, chemical-resistant garments, gloves, eye protection, face shields, or other equipment determined by process and risk assessment.
- Exposure to noise, heat, mechanical equipment, and industrial chemicals may occur depending on system location.
