Job Summary: This is a PM/BA role in the Trading Development team in supporting Trading projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and resilience of the Hong Kong securities / Stock Connect / derivatives markets. Job Duties: Responsibilities: Lead the planning and implementation of Trading Development projects/ initiatives for enhancement of the HK Securities / Listed Derivatives / Stock Connect markets Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with project objectives Prepare and maintain business requirement documentation and testing plans with the respective functional teams Track project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely progress Data analysis to monitor project performance, including financial metrics Conduct quality assurance and provide guidance on work produced by junior project team members Prepare write-ups, management papers, reports, proposals and presentation materials (both in English and Chinese) Conduct market and policy research relating to market development for the execution of strategic projects Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or related disciplines Minimum of 6-8 years of direct, hands-on experience in well-established financial organization focusing on project management, business analyst, or securities business operations, particularly in analysing end‑to‑end operational workflows and identifying process gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities Strong ability to understand complex trading and clearing system and operational workflows, with the capacity to analyse technical logic and translate it into clear business implications. Demonstrate adaptability to new operational processes and workflow changes arising from market enhancement initiatives Solid knowledge of HK securities / Stock Connect / derivatives market, including market structure, market dynamics, and recent market development themes (e.g., policy changes, trading model enhancements, financial market innovations) Able to work independently in a fast‑paced, highly dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively Able to build strong working relationships and manage senior internal and external stakeholders effectively, fostering collaboration and driving alignment during project execution.
