Project Manager – Security & Compliance | Columbia, SC

We’re seeking a Project Manager to lead security and compliance initiatives for a major IT transformation effort. This long-term contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands IT security frameworks, and has proven project leadership skills.

What You’ll Do

• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables for security/compliance projects
• Implement project management processes and methodologies
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to create clear documentation
• Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies
• Prepare reports and present updates to leadership

Must-Have Skills

• 3 years of Project Management experience
• 1 years in information security, compliance, or risk management
• Strong planning, organizing, and communication skills
• Experience prioritizing work in high-pressure environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with healthcare or Medicaid programs
• Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E, FERPA, ARC-AMPE
• Familiarity with eGRC tools (RSA Archer preferred)
• PMP or security certifications
