ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with accounts receivable using accounting software and other programs.
- Handle accounts receivable for multiple different entities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Complete customer invoicing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Process incoming payments by check and EFT including preparing bank deposits.
- Generate and review monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
- Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Perform administrative and other departmental tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or 3 years of experience in accounts receivable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
