Licensed Massage Therapist

Hjerte Massage is a boutique massage practice based in West Austin’s Four Points area, focused on relief, recovery, and deep relaxation. Founded as a single-therapist studio expanding rapidly, Hjerte Massage sets high standards for personalized care and professional integrity.

Hjerte Massage specializes in customized sessions that adapt to each client’s needs — from therapeutic deep-tissue work to restorative, calming techniques — delivered with a focus on quality touch, mindful presence, and lasting results.

As an Independent Contractor Licensed Massage Therapist with Hjerte Massage, you’ll provide customized sessions that help clients relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore balance.

This position offers a flexible schedule in a shared, low-traffic commercial space in West Austin’s Four Points area. You’ll work opposite the owner’s schedule, sharing one treatment room designed for focus and comfort. Each session includes a 30-minute buffer between appointments to ensure every client receives unhurried, high-quality care.

This is an opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding small business in a supportive, professional environment that values quality, integrity, and connection. The role will start part-time, with the option to build toward full-time depending on your interest and booking growth.

Beyond massage work, you’ll also contribute to marketing efforts, including short TikTok videos that showcase your skills and help promote the Hjerte Massage brand.

Compensation & Perks

• Commission: 47%–54% per massage, plus tips
• Training & Marketing Rate: $29–$34 per hour
• Additional Benefits:
• Two complimentary 90-minute massages per month and quarterly tax filing fees covered (combined estimated value: $4,100 per year)

Must-Haves

• Active Texas Massage Therapy License (LMT) or completing licensing in the near future.
• Extremely reliable and consistent — clients can count on you
• Excellent customer interaction skills; caring, grounded, and personable
• Confident and creative, both in your craft and in representing the Hjerte Massage brand
• Comfortable creating short TikTok-style videos that authentically showcase your work and personality
• Growth mindset — open to feedback and eager to refine your skills
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
• A natural interest in health, wellness, and personal growth
• Willingness to collaborate, communicate clearly, and uphold professional standards

Nice-to-Haves (or areas you can grow into)

• Experience with therapeutic or spa-style massage techniques (preferred, but open to your strengths)
