HJ Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide emergency medical services at a respected U.S. military treatment facility in Kentucky. Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency and urgent care patients.
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging studies.
- Stabilize and manage medical emergencies and traumatic injuries.
- Respond to Code Blue and other emergency situations.
- Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice.
- Document patient encounters in accordance with military and facility standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialty consultants.
- Review abnormal laboratory and imaging results and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with significant recent Emergency Medicine experience may also qualify.
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Medicine experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Schedule
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum night shift requirements
